Typical "For Dummies" Perfection

This book covers it all and leaves no stone unturned, which is typical of any "For Dummies" book. Keep in mind this book is about the planning, building, functions, and construction of beehives. This book is NOT about beekeeping in general, as the title should tell you, but still--take note!

If you are a beekeeper who would like to learn how to build your own hives, or if you are a carpenter or craftsperson who'd like to make money making hives for beekeepers, then this is an excellent resource for you. We haven't been keeping bees for too long, but we've learned that the hives and equipment can add up! We frequently search Craigslist and other sources for handmade hives and accessories. Anyone learning to build beehives should enjoy their profits, as beekeeping is a growing hobby and many beekeepers are in need.

Or, if you'd simply like to build one or two hives for yourself, this is still a valuable resource. The book covers several styles of hives for construction, such as the Langstroth and a top bar hive and an observation hive. There are probably many creative hives out there to be discovered, this book covers several of the more common.

The diagrams and images are clear and helpful in understanding hive construction and function. The book also covers many common hive accessories and how to construct them, such as top feeders, hive stands, solar wax melters (that one is new to us!), and frames. Like I said, no stone has been left unturned. If you are interested in hive construction, look no further.

This is probably the 2nd book I'd say is a must have for beekeepers, the first being The Beekeeper's Bible, which has been our favorite resource. For a beekeeper, even if you're not going to end up building a hive, I think you can learn a few things from this book. It's worth checking out! Good book. You will only use a tenth of it but it gives you what you need to build hives. It gets a little silly at times with explanations any person should know, but then again, it's for dummies....

Excelente novela!!

He de reconocer que no soy dado a la er�tica ni aunque esta sea rom�ntica, y no porque no haya le�do kilos y kilos de ellas en mi juventud (o precisamente por eso). El caso es que he de reconocer que me ha costado el “pillarla” y reconozco m�s a�n, que lo hice porque una amiga me la recomend� (y porque me han asegurado que es una excelente escritora). Su novela “YA NO SOMOS TAN J�VENES” me lo ha confirmado.
Por esa raz�n me decid� y… �joder, ya no pude parar de leer! Esta Mary Ann es, adem�s de rom�ntica, una excelente escritora que te da lo m�ximo en cada cosa que escribe, y, claro, en su primera novela no iba a ser menos. Soy sincero (qu� digo sincero) MUY SINCERO si os digo que esta novela me ha encantado, tanto que la pill� esta ma�ana (no har� ni dos horas) y me la he acabado de un tir�n. Me pusieron de apellido spoiler y… ejem, no me lo pusieron por casualidad, as� que, no os voy a decir mucho de su contenido salvo que, os aseguro que no os vais a aburrir y por supuesto tampoco a escandalizar, es un erotismo d�ctil, marcadamente rom�ntico y que a los lectores y lectoras sensibles les va a encantar (me ha entusiasmado a mi y soy de todo menos rom�ntico). En definitiva, muy recomendable para estas t�rridas tardes de verano delante de una buena playa, piscina o tranquilamente sentados en tu c�modo sof� y un buen aparato de aire acondicionado en marcha a tope.

"Ya no somos tan jovenes" de Mary Ann Geeby. Tard� en llegar a ella pero al fin la pude leer. Cre� que me iba a encontrar con una historia donde los protagonistas ten�an problemas y todo el teje maneje que hac�an para salir adelante, pero... �oh, sorpresa! En una trama muy actual, hay planteamientos que m�s de una se podr�a hacer en el transcurso de los a�os de convivencia con la pareja... o la falta de ella. Ana podr�a llegar a ser desesperante, haci�ndose ver, en algunas situaciones, m�s como una adolescente insegura que una mujer es sus 40's, pero igual se le entiende y justifica por su historia. De Adri�n qu� te platico, todo correcto y no queriendo meterse donde no lo llaman, a�n cuando se muere por intentarlo. Buena lectura, se las recomiendo.

This book was a very insightful read! Les Brown and Dr. Fraser have set a bar which a lot of motivational writers should follow. For all those who believe in following their dreams and having the courage and the insight to do so, then my friends, this book is for you!

Inspirational Book - Definitely recommend

I enjoyed reading this book as I really like self development books and this one had many good perspectives and points of wisdom. There are several contributing authors and they each had an important insight. I would recommend it.
