Intriguing and touching story!

The Story got me the instant I read the blurb, I just had to read it. And I loved it!
It's touching and catching you from the first page to the last.
Johnny lost his older brother and blames his brothers best friend and lover Josh for it. Josh, a hurt and broken man, both physical and heart, tries to get along and wants Johnny to hate him for not saving his brother.
Both men know that they can't live without another but are afraid of it, too, and don't tell. Will they find their way out of the terrible past and head to a better future? Together?
It#S a short and quick read but it really has it all! Can't wait to read more of this author!

Josh Edwards has had his right arm amputated in the war. He had saved the people and the kids but he couldn’t save his best friend Eli. Johnny is Eli's little brother. The third in their little trio. Johnny blames Josh for his brother's death. Josh wants Eli to blame him. He feels he should be punished for living. But Johnny soon wakes up and realizes his best friend is more than that to him and needs him.
Johnny's Toy Soldier by Angelique Voisen is an emotional read I just could not put down. This story made me laugh, cry and cheer for the characters. Ms. Voisen has a unique understanding of what it is like to survive what Josh has and come out the other side. I have never read Ms. Voisen before but I will be looking for her now. She has heart and soul to this story that just made me fall in love.
